The End of Summer Gold contest is about to start, I am now accepting signups for the contest. To be eligable for prizes you must register with me this week, once registration closes you will not be able to register for prizes.


Currently I am accepting Solo or Clan signups.

To Sign Up:
For Solo: PM me with your solo registration intent and all your alts
For Clan: PM me with all your clan members (Must have more than 3 members) and intent to compete

If a clan Signs up, all it's members and their alts will be disqualified from solo competition SO BE SURE ALL YOUR MEMBERS WANT TO COMPETE FOR CLAN PRIZES. If your clan signs up and you wanted to go solo please work it out with your clan PRIOR to contest start, once the contest starts registrations can not be altered.


To be clear this contest will be in a few stages.

First there is standard collection, from creeps dropping items. The highest solo/clan will win the highest prize they are eligable for.

To be eligable for first or sencond place prizes you also must have the most "qualifying items" which can be won by doing GM hide and seek games with Master Doobie or GM Jevx.

To win first Place in Solo you must have 4 or more qualifying items, to win a clan first place you must have 10 or more.


Prize Examples:

Clan 1st Place:
1 set of robes (every grade)
1 Set of heavy (every grade)
1 set of light (every grade)
A weapon of every grade, and type
5 Enchant of each type/grade

Solo First Place:
+10 Weapon
+10 Armor




Disclamer:
Prizes may yet change, the above for example only, complete prize list to be posted after registration. Any and all prizes are at GM discretion (you don't get to pick what you get, gm will chose something suitable).

So first, we do the getting items from monsters. Whoever has the most of those items wins, but they have to have "qualifying items" dropped by a gm. That right?

And also, +10 weapon of choice? Or does gm decide what weapon?(wouldn't make much sense if we didn't get to pick, but whatever)

Well,

The way it works, is you guys kill for drops. Festival Adena perhaps (item still being decided).

To win you need to collect the most of the special item, just like a standard collection contest.

However, we will host qualifying item contests. These are mini-contests like hide and seek, and the winner will get a Coin of Luck (item still being decided).

So for instance, even if you collect the most Festival Adena (as in this example) you may only serve to hinder others from getting higher prizes if you do not have the required number or more of the Coin of Luck (qualifying item).

Keep in mind that all ties, or counts within 1000 of eachother will be decided by qualifying items if applicable. So player X gets 10000 Festival adena and 5 Coin of Luck, and Player Y gets 10050 festival adena and 4 coin of luck ... player X will take 1st place.

Also, there will be prizes for all who compete, ranging from mats and recs, to items, enchants, and gear.


Hopefully this clears up any confusion


P.S.
GM's have ultimate say in prizes, however when we show up we will ask what type of armor/weapon you want i.e. heavy, robe, etc. For the clan prizes however the gm will decide it all. Generally if someone knows exactly what they want it makes it easier for me, and I give it to them, but I never abide waiting while someone compares items and figures on what they want ... so I like to cover my bases and say its up to the GM's completely.

There has been alot of confusion on how this contest is going to happen. So I am going to try to clear up a few things.

First thing being about regestering and qulaifying.

You MUST PM me or Doobie to register for the event before it ever happens. This is not hard all you do is make a PM for me or Doobie. IF YOU DO NOT REGISTER WITH ME OR DOOBIE THEN YOU CANNOT PARTICPATE IN THE EVENT FOR PRIZES.

You can participate in solo or clan event. If you participate in the Clan event, none of your charecters can do the solo event, and no one in your clan can do the solo event. So please consolute your clan before registering.

The event will start as soon as enough people register with me or doobie. If enough people to do not register the event will not happen. SO PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU REGISTER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Qualifying will take place when everyone has registered and the event has started. Doobie and I will be holding random GM events to allow contestants to get the "qulaifying" items, and also a new drop will be implemented into certian monsters to allow collecting of the items as well.

You will then tally all these items and turn them in. After which the winners of the qualifying time will be decided.

So PLEASE!!!! Remeber to register for the event with either Me or Doobie on the forums or in game. If you do not you cannot comete for prizes and if enough people do not then the event will not be hold.

That is correct,

For me to start this contest I need a minimum of three solo folks, or 2 clans. Whichever happens first.

So far I have 1 solo and 1 clan ... so please register for the event ASAP so we can get it going.
