Hosts

I'm using Vista for the start.

My hosts file disappeared...

I made a new one but it wont work...

Anyone got any ideas?

I have Vista on my laptop too and it originally didn't work. I emailed the people at PlayNC.com and I think there was some file you had to delete or something (it was a while ago that I had to do it so I don't remember what). If I think of exactly what it was I'll let you know but try them for now.

Well my L2 has always worked on my comp with Vista...

I cant connect because my host file disappeared...

First Vista = crap Always wait at least 1 year before running a new windows os. I know it came with your pc, however its not an "upgrade" at this time.

Make sure you can view system files and they are not hidden. also make sure you can see known file extensions. If you don't have "view file extensions for known file types", in xp it will rename the file to hosts.cfg or .txt and will not work.
